Delete Your Famee Account

You can start account deletion inside Famee or request it by email if you no longer have access to the app.

Delete in the app

  1. Open Famee and go to Settings.
  2. Scroll to the account actions and select Delete account.
  3. Review the warning and confirm the request.

A family owner must transfer ownership first. The last Guardian cannot delete their account while protected family profiles still depend on that Guardian.

Request deletion without the app

Email Request account deletion

Send the request from the email address associated with your Famee account. Include the words “Famee account deletion” in the subject. We may ask for information needed to verify that you control the account. Never send your password or an authentication code.

What deletion does

Famee places the account into a 30-day recovery period. It removes active family memberships and starts cleanup of private assistant conversations, settings, avatar links, and owned file references. After the recovery period, the user record is removed.

Shared family content can remain when other authorized family members still use it. Some security, fraud-prevention, transaction, legal, and backup records can remain for the limited period described in the Privacy Policy. Recovery cannot restore private data that cleanup has already removed.
