Famee Terms of Use

Effective date: August 23, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Famee mobile app and supporting services.

1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using Famee, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Famee.

2. Your account and family

You must provide accurate account information and protect access to your device and account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

Famee is a shared family service. Before you add information about another person, invite a family member, or manage a dependent profile, make sure that you have the right and authority to do so. Family owners and Guardians have additional responsibilities for membership, access, and protected profiles.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of content that you add to Famee. You give Famee permission to store, process, copy, display, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, protect, and improve the service.

Content added to a shared family can be available to other authorized family members. Shared content can remain with the family after one member leaves or deletes an account when other members still use it.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Famee to break the law, harm another person, invade privacy, distribute malicious software, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, or use automated methods that place an unreasonable load on the service. Do not upload content that you do not have the right to use.

5. Artificial intelligence

AI features can produce incomplete or incorrect results. Review AI output before you rely on it or use it to change family data. Famee is not a medical, legal, financial, or emergency service. Do not use it as a substitute for qualified professional advice or emergency assistance.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

Paid plans, prices, trial eligibility, renewal terms, and cancellation options are shown in Famee and in the applicable Apple or Google store before purchase. Subscriptions can renew automatically unless you cancel them through the store account before renewal. The applicable store controls billing, cancellation, refunds, and trial eligibility.

Access can continue during a valid grace period and can end when a subscription expires, is refunded, or cannot be verified.

7. App license

Famee gives you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, and revocable right to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app except where applicable law permits it.

For the iOS app, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If these terms conflict with a mandatory app-store term, the mandatory store term controls for that platform.

8. Service changes and availability

We can add, change, suspend, or remove features to maintain security, comply with law, improve Famee, or address technical limits. We work to keep Famee available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Suspension and account deletion

We can restrict or suspend access when necessary to protect users, the service, or legal compliance. You can request account deletion in the app or through the account-deletion page. The Privacy Policy explains retention and deletion.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Famee is provided as available, without warranties that are not expressly stated in these terms. Famee is not responsible for decisions made from incorrect user content, missed notifications caused by device or network settings, or AI output that you did not review.

Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that applicable consumer law does not allow us to limit.

11. Changes to these terms

We can update these terms when features, laws, or service providers change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your rights.
